WHAT IF SOMETHING IS BROKEN OR MISSING?

If something is: Broken: light not working, radiator cold, leaking tap; Missing: recycling bin missing. Then please report this at reception.

WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

Become a "Sustainability Engagement and Action Leader" (aka SEAL!). This provides the opportunity to get further involved with Reduce the Juice, receive tailored training and support throughout the project, deliver your own sustainability project and gain a range of valuable experience. WHAT AND HOW CAN I RECYCLE?

All the bins in your rooms are recycling bins. There are also recycling and general waste bins in the pantries and around the Hall.

CONTAMINATED MATERIALS

If the material is covered in food, that can't be recycles, but it in the general waste bin.

Metal

Tin cans, cans of drink, metal caps, jar lids Vr lids

POLYSTYRENE BOXES

So if you're throwing away the takeaway boxes from last night, make sure the polystyrene ones go in the general waste bin

PAPER AND CARDBOARD

CHOCOLATE BAR WRAPPERS!

That's right, we haven't found a way to get the chocolatey grese of the wrappers, so they can't be recycled!
